OOCHorse: silverbrookstables.proboards.com/thread/7/captive-heart-aqhRider: silverbrookstables.proboards.com/thread/5/abigail-shea-andersonWords: 174 ~ After warming up, I head towards the small grid (two crossrails with two canter strides between each) at the trot. She goes over well and I lean forward and rub her neck. "Good job for your first time! Drifted a bit to the left there though.", I say as we circle around to try it one more time. This time I'm prepared for her to drift and with a bit more left leg the problem is almost nonexistent. We pop over it a couple of more times before adding in a third crossrail one stride from the second. I pick up the canter and ride towards the new grid. We jump the first, one, two, up, one, up, I think . "Good girl!", I praise as she blows and I allow her to stretch out. After a couple of more times I decide that's enough for today and go back to a walk. I let my reins out and drop my stirrups as I walk around the rail of the arena, cooling the mare off.
